This indicates the chance to avoid damage.

Defense = Base + (Skill Level x10) + Stat Bonus + Constitution Bonus + Training + Armor Penalty + Other Penalty)

- Skill Level - Chosen Defense (Dodge or Block)
- Stat Bonus - Preferred Stat's bonus from chosen defense
- Constitution Bonus - Defense Bonus. see: Constitution

- Armor Penalty - Armor/Helmet/Shield penalty

- Skill Level: 10 (Chosen defense is dodge. 1 level in dodge gives 1x10 pts)
- Stat Bonus: 15 (Chosen defense is dodge, chosen stat is dex. 9 points of Dexterity gives 15 pts]
- Constitution Bonus: 2 (5 points of Constitution gives 2 pts)

- Armor Penalty: -6 (Leather Armor has an Armor Penalty of 6)
