Detailed Walkthrough[ | ]

  1. Talk to Paullus in Caer-Tor
  2. Talk to Legatus Raenas
    1. Convince him that you are trustworthy
    2. Convince him that you are competent
    3. If you convince him, you gain +2 Imperial Guards reputation
    4. If you fail to convince him, he will tell you to get at least 2 out of 3 of his Centurions to accept you
  3. Gather support from Raenas' centurions
    1. Centurion Farro:
      • If you defeated the Ordu in combat, he will vote for you for free
      • If you made peace with Ordu, you will need to convince him
        • Persuasion+Trading=[7], "Things change. Gaelius was the first to realize it..." (If you promised Ordu supplies)
        • Persuasion:[4], "Exactly. We fought them for centuries and what changed?"
        • Streetwise:[5], "I wasn’t going to give them anything..."
    2. Centurion Barnus
      • He will vote for you if you defeat in combat 4 barbarians armed with steel weapons
    3. Centurion Diocletus
      • He will vote for you if you manage to get for him 5 pounds of Blue Steel from Quartermaster nearby
        • Quartermaster will be willing to sell you Blue Steel for 1250 imperials if you pass Trading:[3] check
          • You can also persuade him with Persuasion:[4] to trade Blue Steel for 100 pounds of Steel if you have it
        • If you already have 5 pounds of Blue Steel in your inventory, you can give them to Diocletus without talking with Quartermaster
        • You can also get his vote for free if you tell him that you aren't going to run errands for him and pass Streetwise:[5] check
  4. Talk to Raenas
    • If you convinced two centurions, you gain +1 Imperial Guards reputation
    • If you convinced all three centurions, you gain +2 Imperial Guards reputation
  5. Talk to Paullus
